His Excellency Ambassador Niall Burgess has the pleasure to invite you to attend an address by Professor Barry O’Sullivan, Fellow and former President of the European AI Association (EurAI), in advance of France’s AI Action Summit 2025.

Professor O'Sullivan is a leading academic who has worked on artificial intelligence AI/data ethics and public policy. In 2018, he was appointed vice-chair of the European Commission's high-level European Commission on AI and, in 2019, he became advisor on AI at the European Commission's Joint Research Centre. He is also a Fellow and a member of the Executive Council of the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI). He chairs the Advisory Board of the GRACE project at Europol and is also Director of the Science Foundation Ireland Centre for Research Training in AI and a a member of the Royal Irish Academy, Ireland’s highest academic accolade.

A networking breakfast will take place after the address. This event will take place in English.
