On Thursday March 20th, we collaborated with the Embassy of Ireland once again to welcome Dr. Emma Howard back to Paris to talk on a different theme to a different audience! Dr. Howard presented on the importance of diversity in addressing global economic challenges to an audience of economic and financial professionals and students.
Her presentation covered issues such as the representation of women economists in the media, girls' participation in mathematics and economics classes in schools, and the benefits that equality and diversity bring to levels of productivity and success in organizations and businesses.
We were delighted to see a very mixed audience, in particular many students interested in the topic.
Once again, thank you Dr. Emma Howard for such an interesting discussion. It was a wonderful way to kick off the 2025 Speaker Series.
