France & Ireland : together in a world turned upside-down

Continuing in our post-lockdown webinar series, NetworkIrlande are delighted to invite our members to an exclusive online presentation by the Paris-based author and global strategist, Michael O'Sullivan

With over twenty years experience in global financial markets, most recently as chief investment officer at Credit Suisse, Michael was also the lead contributor to Credit Suisse's think tank, the CS Research Institute.  He spent over ten years as a global strategist at a number of sell-side institutions and has also taught finance at Princeton and Oxford Universities.

Michael was an independent member of Ireland's National Economic Social Council from 2011 to 2016 and is is a member of the World Economic Forum's Council on the New Economy.  He is the author of a number of books and has contributed to journals like Foreign Affairs, the Financial Times, and Wall Street Journal in addition to being a regular guest on CNN, BBC, CNBC and Bloomberg.

Michael will be sharing his unique insights on the relationship between France and Ireland, two countries who now have more in common than at any time since the era of Napoleon. He will be discussing how Europe will come to terms with the end of globalization and the onset of a multipolar world where the US and China are competitors. How will Brexit end? What is the best way to stimulate our economies now? How will the euro evolve and are there lessons each country can learn from each other? ...and any other questions you would like to ask him!
