Lyon Rentrée Event

NetworkIrlande and the Consulate General of Ireland in Lyon are delighted to invite you to our 2024 Rentrée Reception to mark the occasion of Worldskills Lyon 2024 which will run until September 15^th.

This networking event will take place at the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Lyon at 6.30pm on Monday September 09^th and will be an opportunity for members of the Franco-Irish business community to come together again after the summer break and meet NetworkIrlande's new general manager, Cliodhna Fullam.  

We will also be celebrating Ireland's participation in the global WorldSkills championship which will take place in Lyon from 10-15 September.  WorldSkills organises world and national championships for vocational skills and is held every two years in different parts of the world.  This 47^th edition will bring together teams from over 70 countries competing in 62 disciplines.  Ireland has been a member of WorldSkills since 1956 and taken part in competitions since 1957, this year 19 competitors will take part and we will be welcoming members of the Worldskills Ireland delegation and team to enlighten our business network on their activities and on the competition itself.
